This MTB event is inspired by the Native Himalayan Tahrs or the Himalayan wild goats commonly known as blue mountain goats. Tahrs are most active early morning and during afternoon. They are shy and wary, difficult to approach especially when they are racing uphill. If you challenge them they get startled. But they are full of confidence and speed away sure-footedly across the uneven terrain of their habitat.
